About this Event
The RAAA Convention is now recognised as one of the pre-eminent aviation events held in Australia, drawing delegates from around the country and the world. RAAA Convention 2026 promises to be bigger and better than ever before as we build on the success of our 2024 event on the Gold Coast.
Our theme for the 2026 convention is ‘Stronger Together’, where we will reflect and build upon the Associations’ key strategic pillars of ‘Advocacy, Community, Leadership and Education.’ Our convention program will be demonstrating and exploring these areas and showcasing how we collectively continue to drive our industry forwards, for the betterment of ourselves and each other.
Welcome to Cairns
In a first for the Regional Aviation Association of Australia (RAAA), we will be heading to beautiful, balmy Cairns for our biennial convention taking place from 16 to 18 June 2026.
Situated on the shores of the Great Barrier Reef and surrounded by the oldest rainforest on earth, Cairns is one of the most desirable destinations in the world.
Join us as we spend two and a half days packed with engaging convention sessions, fantastic functions and plenty of networking opportunities. Importantly, we invite you to come along to exchange ideas and stories, and enjoy good food, great views and even better company.
