Registration Terms

Registration is open to Regional Aviation Association of Australia members and to anyone involved in, or associated with regional aviation. RAAA reserves the right to decline any application that does not meet the established participation criteria.

Cancellation Policy

Registration

If notification of registration cancellation is made in writing to The Productions House Events prior to 4 weeks before the event start date, a full refund will be given (less AU$200 processing fee). After this date no refund will be given, however a substitute delegate may be accepted. Refunds for social functions will be given at the discretion of the event host. Credit card surcharges associated with registrations and social functions will not be refunded under any circumstances. Any refunds will be returned via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.

All delegates are strongly advised to take out insurance cover for their registration, travel and accommodation in the unlikely event of non-attendance or convention cancellation.

Accommodation

Cancellation fees will be subject to the hotel group booking cancellation policy. Cancellation of bookings must be made via email to The Productions House Events (info@tphe.com.au) only. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival, including no-shows, will incur a 100% cancellation fee. This fee is calculated as the total number of room nights cancelled multiplied by the applicable accommodation rate.

Liability/Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. The Productions House Events and RAAA will not accept liability for, but not limited to:

• Damages of any nature (including financial) sustained by participants, or loss or damage to their personal property in the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters;
• Damage to reputation;
• Loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the convention or through cancellation of the convention;
• Loss of internal/domestic air fares or accommodation through cancellation for any reason;
• Personal injury or illness of any kind, or death;
• Medical expenses

Delegates are strongly recommended to take out suitable travel insurance policy including coverage for non-refundable registration fees when you register for the convention and book your travel.

Force Majeure

The Organisers and Co-Organisers of the convention shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the un-availability of the venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without fault or negligence. For one or more of such reasons, the organisers and co-organisers of the convention shall not be liable to attendee for any direct, consequential or incidental damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses.

Photography/Videography

There will be photographs/videos taken throughout the convention and at the social events. These may be used for RAAA related promotional activities and reporting, including the RAAA website and on social media.
